Graduation Requirement

  1. A student must complete prescribed coursework to graduate.
  2. A student must have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least 2.5 to graduate.
  3. For term assessment, a student who obtains a cumulative GPA below 2.5 in the preceding term will be put on academic probation. A student fails to have probation lifted after being put on academic probation for two consecutive terms of attendance shall be required to discontinue studies.
  4. A student receiving a grade of "D+" or below in a course must repeat the course or take an approved substitute.


Grading System

Students are assessed on the basis of their performance in course examinations and other assignments. The grading system (2011-2012 and thereafter) is as follows:

Dean's List 

Outstanding students in the top 20% and have a cumulative GPA of 3.60 or above (out of 4.00) are eligible to be on the Dean's List. Dean's List Certificate will be issued to concerned student, and this honour will also be recorded on the academic transcript.
