Love Matters More than Money – IBCE Alumna Pours Her Heart into Social Enterprise

IBCE alumna Janice Sue Wong makes use of the business knowledge acquired at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School to establish HeArtistic, a social enterprise aimed at improving the mental well-being of our community. Recently she shared her story with Oriental Daily News.

Janice Sue Wong is an alumna of International Business and Chinese Enterprise (IBCE) programme (Class of 2014) at CUHK Business School. She is working as an intern in a multinational corporation. Her career path is seen as promising. However, it doesn’t stop her from pouring her heart into helping the needs of those who suffer from metal health issues.

Wong was previously selected as an intern at the United Nations. While there, she realised the world is much bigger than what she had always thought. Seeing the tremendous amount of problems in the world every day, she knew she had to do something. So she started HeArtistic, a social enterprise that helps people channelise their excessive stress and emotional issues through art jamming.
