CUHK Business School co-hosts HKU–CUHK Real Estate Doctoral Symposium
The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School and the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong (HKU) jointly hosted the second HKU–CUHK Real Estate Doctoral Symposium on 5 March 2026.
The event was organised by CUHK Business School’s School of Hotel and Tourism Management, through its Centre for Hospitality and Real Estate Research, together with the HKU Real Estate Lab.
Co-chaired by Professor Desmond Tsang of CUHK and Professor Kelvin Wong of HKU, the symposium brought together more than 60 doctoral students and distinguished faculty members from leading institutions across the region, including Peking University, University College London (UCL), City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU).
The symposium provided a platform for emerging scholars to present their work and engage in in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics, such as housing policy, urban sustainability, and microclimate risk, fostering academic exchange and collaboration in the field of real estate research.
