New Faculty Members Join CUHK Business School
A faculty orientation was held on 2 September to welcome new faculty members joining CUHK Business School in 2016.
A faculty orientation was held on 2 September to welcome new faculty members joining The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School in 2016.
The morning session of the orientation was kicked off with informative presentations by senior management including Dean Prof Kalok Chan, Associate Deans and Director of Graduate Studies. The Directors and Chairmen of the School’s six departments and schools were also on hand to welcome the new staff.
During the luncheon, Academic Dean Prof Wei Xiong and faculty members from the School of Management Economics (SME) of the CUHK-Shenzhen campus also joined the orientation. Academic staff from both institutions took this opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences and to build deeper relationships across the two campuses.
The afternoon programme included sharing by Prof. Chan and Prof. Xiong. The orientation drew to a close with a Q&A session and discussion.
Continuing a successful worldwide recruitment campaign in 2015, CUHK Business School is further strengthened by 15 new academic staff in 2016. The new group includes 13 assistant professors, one professional consultant and one lecturer.
