Professor Lisa Wan named Outstanding Fellow of the Faculty of Business Administration

The Chinese University (CUHK) Business School is pleased to announce that Professor Lisa Wan Chun-ying of the School of Hotel and Tourism Management is awarded the appointment as Outstanding Fellow of the Faculty of Business Administration in recognition of her outstanding academic achievements. Conferred by CUHK Vice-Chancellor, this prestigious appointment will span a term of five years from 2024.

Expressing her gratitude, Professor Wan said, “Receiving this accolade is not only a humbling experience but it also empowers me to continue striving for greatness—for myself and for my students. Together, we will push boundaries and inspire one another to reach new heights.” She also extended heartfelt thanks to her team, colleagues, and students for their unwavering support in teaching, research, and community service over the past 12 years.

Additionally, Professor Wan has also been recently awarded the Outstanding Research Impact Award 2023-24 by the University for the reach and significance of impact with her project titled “Changing Behaviour, Changing Outcomes: Promoting the Green Path to Sustainable Tourism for Hospitality Businesses and Tourists”. Established in 2022-23, this award recognises the demonstrable impacts that the researchers or project teams bring to the society beyond academia.
