Thai master’s student at CUHK Business School awarded “The BOCHK–CUHK International Scholarship”

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School awarded “The BOCHK–CUHK International Scholarship” to an outstanding international master’s student from the ASEAN region.

This year’s scholarship recipient is Pasit Kongkathip (MSc in Finance) from Thailand. Professor Gao Zhenyu, associate professor in the Department of Finance, presented the certificate and congratulated the awardee on his achievement.  

Reflecting on receiving the scholarship, Pasit expressed his gratitude to BOCHK for its generous support. In addition to financial assistance, the scholarship provided him with the opportunity to work alongside professionals at BOCHK and gain valuable hands-on experience. This exposure to real-world cases enriched his learning and strengthened his practical understanding of the finance industry.

Launched with the generous support of Bank of China (Hong Kong), The BOCHK–CUHK International Scholarship covers 60 per cent of tuition fees, provides recipients with the opportunity to work on a BOCHK-sponsored practicum project during their studies, and offers fast-track interview opportunities for positions at BOC offices in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia upon graduation.
