Anne Carver is a retired University Senior Lecturer who lives in Sai Kung. She is British and studied law at Cambridge University. She has been teaching law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and The University of Hong Kong for the past 25 years. She is the author of Hong Kong Business Law, and Corporate Governance – The Hong Kong Debate (with Say Goo). She has specialised in teaching company law, business law, corporate governance and legal research skills.  Anne currently teaches Service Business and Hospitality Law on CUHK Business School’s BBA in Hospitality and Real Estate Programme. She is also an Honorary Professor in the School of Public Health of CUHK where she teaches part-time on the Law and Public Health Master’s Programme. She is also an Adjunct Professor at the Hang Seng Management University of Hong Kong where she teaches on the Business Law and Translation Master’s Programme. Since retiring from her full-time position in the Faculty of Law at CUHK, Anne has delivered numerous Continuing Professional Development Courses for Hong Kong solicitors and is a particular expert on the interpretation of contracts, legal writing, Hong Kong’s anti-money laundering laws and Hong Kong competition law.
