About Rice Robotics

Rice Robotics is building the infrastructure for next-generation corporates to deploy fleets of robots. Their robots are autonomous and can operate elevators and turnstiles, charge, and navigate in crowded areas without help. Their delivery robot Rice and disinfection robot Jasmine are freeing up employees to focus on more meaningful tasks in Hong Kong, Japan and Thailand.

About the Speaker

Mr. Victor Lee is the Founder & CEO of Rice Robotics, and a Founding Member of Gogovan. He pursued his studies in UC Berkeley and The Chinese University of Hong Kong and has 7+ years of experience in Product Development and Industrial Design.

About the Moderator

Mr. Jerry Szeto worked on an automated drink barista prototype while he was pursuing his undergraduate studies in Mechanical and Automation Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. This has brought him into PI Centre for commercialisation. Upon graduation, he established Automated Technologies Corporation (Hong Kong) Limited with 3 other CUHK alumni and is currently working on The AuLaitino project. Automated Technologies is currently developing an automated Taiwanese style drinks solution. Combining robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoTs), the company strives to automate the entire process of processing ingredients, mixing custom Taiwanese drinks, management, and sales.
