Haptics and Ownership Theory

I will begin with an overview on my research on haptics (product touch) and explain the relationship between haptics and psychological ownership, summarizing some of my work. As time permits, I will share some recent projects- one that uses digital photos of experiential venues, and theory of ownership to illustrate an unintended consequence of photo images promoting experiential goods. Another is examining influencer marketing, the level of control the brand exerts and the consequences of this control on the influencer and viewers.
