Biography
Professor Victoria Wang is an Associate Professor of Practice in Management with CUHK Business School.
Prior to CUHK, Professor Wang had about 30-year highly accomplished industry career with esteemed companies such as IBM, DuPont & HAVI. She has been a prominent member on various global leadership boards, company Board of Directors, Global Logistics Council, Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Council.
Professor Wang’s career started from her pivotal role and cross functional leadership in the start-up of IBM PC’s global supply chain fulfillment center in China. Her many leadership roles included Country General Manager of DuPont China, Global HR Lead for Corporate Supply Chain based in DuPont U.S. global headquarters. In 2015, Professor Wang joined HAVI group, a globally renowned Supply Chain company where she was the Global Chief People Officer for the Supply Chain Business across 40 countries, followed by her role as the Senior Vice President of HAVI Global Supply Chain and Regional Head of Asia, where she shouldered full accountability for the business strategy, growth, and exceptional results in this role.
With extensive people, general management and P&L experience, including over a decade in cross-cultural global leadership roles, Professor Wang’s strategic leadership encompasses a deep understanding of global business management – cross-cultural dynamics, people and organization effectiveness, M&As integration, change and transformation, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as women in leadership.
With her passion for people and support future leaders’ development, Professor Wang started engaging with CUHK from August 2023 and she now teaches in undergraduate, Master and MBA Programmes.
Professor Wang is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by International Coaching Federation (ICF)., mergers and acquisitions, transformation and change management, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as women in leadership.
To pursue her passion for people and leverage her leadership experience to support the future leadership development, Professor Wang started teaching China Business with CUHK as part of the Undergraduate Programmes since August 2023. She became a LEAP advisor with MBA Programme since February 2024 and an Adjunct Associate Professor since April 2024. Her teaching areas also include sustainability, experiential learning and business practicum with CUHK Master’s and MBA Programmes. Professor Wang is also a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) assisting the transformational development of future leaders.
