CUHK Business School students awarded the esteemed Outstanding Student Awards 2023
23 students from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School have been honoured with The Outstanding Student Awards 2023 presented by CUHK, recognising their exceptional achievements beyond academic excellence. Congratulations!
The Outstanding Student Awards Presentation Ceremony 2023 took place successfully on Friday, 12 January 2024. As one of the highest student honours at CUHK, a total of 210 students received the awards this year, with 23 individuals hailing from the School. These awards are classified into five categories: Arts, Innovation and Invention, Social Service (for the CUHK community and society), Special Achievement and Sports. The awardees are honoured for their remarkable accomplishments, contributions to the community and demonstration of courage in facing challenges, surpassing mere academic excellence.
Professor Rocky Tuan, Vice-Chancellor and President of CUHK, presented the awards to over 100 awardees, with the presence of university officials, faculty members, families, and friends. Professor Zhou Lin, dean of CUHK Business School, and Dr Fred Ku, associate dean of Undergraduate Studies at CUHK Business School, also graced the occasion to celebrate the honour with the students.
Since 2018, over 600 CUHK students have received the Awards, which serve as testaments to the outstanding talents, hard work, and resilience exhibited by them in non-academic aspects. By acknowledging the contributions and positive influence of these students on CUHK community and society, the awards aim at motivating their peers to aspire to similar virtues.
