Current MBA student Charles Wang has set his long-term career goal to establish his own high-tech business empire, providing high-tech devices and applications to help young people improve their work efficiency and quality of life.
Eager to learn about business from an international perspective, the elected president of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) MBA student association is currently on his exchange year in the United States, experiencing his first taste of western culture at the University of Texas at Austin’s McCombs School of Business (UT Austin).
Prior to studying at CUHK Business School, Wang worked in the business innovation department for Samsung in Beijing, progressing swiftly from supervisor to assistant manager. He says that studying an MBA is a critical component of his career development plan through which he wants to sharpen his cross-functional management skills and gain more international experience.
Wang indicates that Hong Kong is the world’s gateway to China and from China, a portal to the world, and that CUHK Business School offers unparalleled career opportunities as it is situated in one of the world’s financial capitals and most open and prosperous economies.
