Hong Kong — A City Offering a Global MBA Experience in the East

MBA alumnus Sharad Golchha shares his global MBA journey and experience in studying at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School in a book entitled “Times Study Abroad 2015/16” by The Times of India, a popular English-language daily newspaper in India.

MBA alumnus Sharad Golchha shares his global MBA journey and experience in studying at the CUHK Business School in a book entitled “Times Study Abroad 2015/16” by The Times of India, a popular English-language daily newspaper in India.

In his story, Golchha said that Hong Kong is the destination for prospective MBA candidates who are keen to have a strong China exposure with a global outlook. He said, “The CUHK MBA, being the oldest programme in the region with close ties with China, some high-profile faculty members and alumni from China and local industry links was his first choice.”

The CUHK MBA programme was Golchha’s first international academic and cultural experience where he studied and interacted with classmates and professors from more than 25 countries. He stated that it was a good global journey through which he gained local knowledge on China shared by experienced classmates and global insights from his fellow international students as well as valuable career guidance from mentors.

The book, Times Study Abroad 2015/16 is a guide for prospective candidates who plan to study in popular destinations worldwide for an MBA. It has been published since 22 November 2015 and is being sold on various online bookstores such as Amazon India and Indiatimes Shopping run by The Times of India Group.
