On the sunny morning of 12 May, a OneMBA delegation, comprising alumni from Hong Kong, mainland China, Europe and Latin America, visited The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. They received a warm welcome from Ms. Florence Lai, the Alumni and Corporate Affairs Director, and had a leisurely chat in the spacious lobby of the Cheng Yu Tung Building. Next, they met with Prof. Angela Ng, Associate Dean of Global Engagement and External Relations, who shared the Business School’s latest developments. The delegation was eager to learn about the Business School’s vision and education initiatives for the betterment of Hong Kong, the mainland and the region.

Since some of the alumni had graduated well before construction of the teaching building, a guided tour was provided. The delegation viewed a range of facilities, including the student-run Café 12, a demo kitchen, the Finance Trading Laboratory and the Hyatt Learning Centre. Everyone was impressed by the comfortable, well-designed facilities, which offer an enhanced learning environment.

Organised by the OneMBA Alumni Association, the campus visit was part of the OneMBA 2017 Global Alumni Meeting in Hong Kong and Xiamen, which took place from 11 to 15 May. “On behalf of the OneMBA Alumni Association, I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the Business School for arranging today’s visit. It made us feel very much at home,” said Mr. Danny Cheung, President of the CUHK OneMBA Alumni Association.
