Topic Covered: Cookies, Competitive Advantage and Strategic Growth

In this session, participants will learn about strategy (and gain a first-hand understanding of the insight our faculty bring to each and every lecture) as we are introduced to the concept of competitive advantage.

A firm is said to have competitive advantage when it is implementing a value creating strategy not simultaneously being implemented by any other organisation.  But what does this mean in practice?  How does an organisation know if it has competitive advantage?  How do we measure the effectiveness of competitive advantage?  And how can we use competitive advantage to drive organisational growth?

These questions and more in an engaging story about strategy, accounting and what we can learn from the world’s most famous cookie!
