CUHK Business School Graduates Take Home CPA Australia Distinction Awards

Two graduates of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School received CPA Australia Distinction Awards in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

On 10 September 2022, Nira Ninglan Xi and Rowena Sin-Man Chan, graduates from Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and BBA in Professional Accountancy (PACC) respectively, were presented with CPA Australia Distinction Awards, which recognise top graduates from local undergraduate and master programmes for their outstanding academic performance in 2021-22.

In support of their pursuit of a career in professional accountancy, award winners are entitled to free application assessment, an exam fee waiver and a one-year Associate membership with CPA Australia.

Delighted with the outstanding performance of the graduates, Dr. Raymond Wong, MAcc Programme Director and Senior Lecturer of School of Accountancy at CUHK Business School, saw the award a reminder of the importance of attaining professional qualifications.  ”With an increasing number of our graduates unconventionally navigating into careers such as forensic accounting, investment banking, business consultancy and equity research, a professional qualification will definitely provide an advantage for them to thrive in their career.”
