Biography
Yang Weikun is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. He earned his PhD from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. His research applies the resource-based view to the study of corporate strategy, with a particular focus on diversification, innovation, competition, and capability selection. He employs large-scale data and formal modeling techniques to explore how firms leverage resources.
