Biography

Professor Meiling Zhao is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She received her PhD in accounting from the Dhaliwal-Reidy School of Accountancy at The University of Arizona in 2022. Professor Zhao’s research centres on how different institutions in the capital markets shape corporate information environment, with a focus on auditors, regulators, and information intermediaries.
