Xu, Rosy Ruoxi（徐若溪）

Biography

Prof. Rosy Xu is an assistant professor of accounting at the CUHK Business School. She obtained a BBA degree in accounting from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and a PhD degree in accounting from the University of Miami.

Prof Xu’s research aims to understand the information learning processes adopted by various agents in the financial contexts. Her previous work studies how equity analysts learn from peers’ earnings forecast errors to improve their own accuracy and the inefficiency of the financial market in discerning corporate disinformation. Her work has been published in top finance journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics.

Prof Xu teaches blockchain and cryptocurrency to undergraduate, master, and executive-level students. Her courses integrate technology, entrepreneurship, and accounting. Outside academia, Prof Xu is a certified RYT®200 yoga teacher.
