Business School Alumni and Friends Co-celebrate the New Year at Spring Cocktail

The annual Spring Cocktail was hosted by CUHK Business School on 16 February, 2017 at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong. About 180 guests celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Rooster together.

The annual Spring Cocktail was hosted by CUHK Business School on 16 February, 2017 at Island Shangri-La Hong Kong. About 180 guests – alumni, business partners, friends from academia, government and the corporate community – celebrated the beginning of the Year of the Rooster together.

At the joyous occasion, CUHK Provost Prof. Benjamin Wah and CUHK Business School Dean Prof. Kalok Chan kicked off the event by sharing recent CUHK updates with the guests. In the upcoming year, on top of the new FinTech and BBA-JD bachelor programs, an entrepreneurship and innovation minor program for undergraduates and a new public online course series “Doing Business in China” will be launched. Guests were also introduced to the strategic plan of the university, two new Associate Deans, new corporate partnerships and past anniversary events of the MBA program. The speeches were followed by a toasting ceremony and the group photo, bringing the formal ceremony to a close.

This Cocktail not only gathered our guests to mingle and catch up with each other, but also provided an opportune moment for the Business School to express our gratitude for the continual support from our alumni and friends from the business community.
