Ontario Alumni Network Tea Gathering

The Ontario Alumni Network organised a gathering on Saturday, 30 January at Emperor Fine Chinese Cuisine in Toronto, bringing together 48 alumni and friends.

Apart from a sumptuous afternoon tea, the agenda included a sharing session, hosted by Ms. Carmen Chan (Economics 1990), with two speakers who discussed issues pertaining to the economy. Mr. Steve Ng (Economics 1969 & MBA 1971), Broker of Record, Remax Goldenway Realty Inc., Brokerage, examined the Toronto real estate market, and Mr. Jimmy Ma (Sociology 1981 & MBA 1990), Senior System Administration and Development, Manitowoc, spoke on social media and new technology. The audience responded with questions and applause, calling for a second technology discussion to be led by Mr. Ma.

The Ontario Alumni Network was formed in 2014. We are thankful to the council members for organising inspiring and memorable events to connect business alumni of CUHK and the Business School living in Ontario, Canada.
