The first International Peer Review for Undergraduate Programmes has just been completed after an intensive 3-day visit of the peer reviewers from 27-29 March 2017. The International Peer Review was self-initiated with the background that the first cohort of 4-year curriculum has just been completed since its launch in 2012. As a leading business school in the region nurturing future business leaders for the Asian century, we took this golden opportunity to review and reflect our business undergraduate curriculum.

The review panel consists of senior leaders from the three leading business schools in the region and the globe, they are Professor Chee Kiong CHNG, Vice Dean of Undergraduate Studies of National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School; Professor Eric Hirst, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and King Ranch Chair for Business Leadership of McCombs School of Business, University of Texas Austin and Mr. Paul Kirsch, Managing Director, Office of the Undergraduate Programmes of Stephen M. Ross School of Business, The University of Michigan.

The three reviewers met the senior management of the CUHK Business School, student representatives, alumni, advisory board members and recruiters. They discussed a wide array of issues related to business undergraduate curriculum, global and societal demand on business talent, student learning experience and course offerings. The discussion was tremendously fruitful and rewarding. Insightful ideas and good practices have been shared and exchanged. We will bring the review forward to rise our undergraduate education to better heights.
