Celebration Arrives in Asia and Europe – Hundreds of Alumni Gathered for the 60th Anniversary of CUHK & CUHK Business School

Following the success in the North American region, the global alumni gatherings of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School have recently extended to different cities in Europe and Asia. In May, alumni from Shanghai, Singapore, and London came together in their locality to celebrate the 60th anniversary of CUHK and CUHK Business School.

The Shanghai alumni gathering was held at The Langham, Shanghai, Xintiandi on 23 May, marking the first alumni gathering of the School in mainland China since the pandemic. Professor Lin Zhou, Dean of the School, attended the event alongside School representatives to meet over 200 alumni and students over a joyous evening. The Alumni Office would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Raymond So (MBA 1981), President of the CUHK Shanghai Alumni Association and Founding President of the CUHK Business School Shanghai Alumni Association, and Remy Chan (IBBA 1993), President of the CUHK Business School Shanghai Alumni Association, as well as other council members for their enormous support throughout.

On the other hand, the Singapore alumni gathering took place in early May, with over 70 alumni from different programmes and industries gathering to catch up and learn about the latest developments of the CUHK Business School. Meanwhile, with the assistance of Global Alumni Ambassador Carol Chan (IBBA 2006), the London alumni gathering was successfully concluded on 20 May and saw dozens of alumni reunited to connect with each other.
